Incorporated in 2024, JC Construction Consultancy Ltd was established in direct response to the critical changes introduced by the Building Safety Act 2022, with a primary mission to assist our clients in navigating the new Principal Designer role under the Building Regulations.
Our Extensive Expertise: What truly sets us apart is our team’s extensive background in Building Control. This unique expertise ensures we are ideally suited to act in an advisory capacity, offering design team support and confirming a project’s design is robustly compliant with the Building Regulations from the outset.
Comprehensive Principal Designer Services: Over the past year, we have expanded our services to offer complete coverage across both new and established safety legislation. This includes undertaking the role of Principal Designer under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015), either independently or in conjunction with the Building Regulations role. This provides a streamlined, holistic service to oversee, coordinate, and manage health and safety throughout the design and construction phases.

Managing Director
Jack Cook is the founder and Managing Director of JC Construction Consultancy Ltd
Background: Founded MC Warranty Services in 2019 to complement the building control services offered by MC Plan & Site Services.
Specialisation: Structural warranties, latent defects insurance, and building regulation compliance.
Community Involvement: Actively involved in local sports sponsorship, including Wimborne Town Football Club.
He often collaborates with Mark Cook on CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and industry events regarding building control and warranty services.
